RESTORATIVE YOGA is a relatively new kind of practice that addresses effectively the ills of our fast-paced society. In this deeply relaxing style of yoga, poses are held for 5 to 10 minutes and your body is completely supported by props such as blankets, bolsters, blocks, straps,... so that you feel comfortable enough to “let go” of your physical, emotional, mental and energetically tensions.
It may at first seem challenging to some people but it’s definitely accessible to all. During this practice and after, you will feel nourished, balanced, rested and peaceful. Some breathing technics (Pranayama) as well as physical and mental relaxation technics (such as Yoga Nidra) may be offered to accompany postures.
